Washington DC · Since 2003
DC's longest-running free youth football clinic — empowering kids ages 7–15 through athletics, mentorship, and life skills.
About us
Positive Choices, Inc. is a community-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2003 by University of Maryland Assistant Defensive Coordinator Aazaar Abdul-Rahim.
Our mission: cultivate a learning ecosystem that inspires Washington DC's most vulnerable youth to succeed in the classroom and on the football field — and to carry those habits into life.
We bring NFL players, Division I coaches, and dedicated mentors together every summer so kids can see what's possible and learn from people who came from the same streets they did.
"When young people are given opportunity, they show up ready."
— Aazaar Abdul-Rahim, Founder
What we do
Camp-goers train with certified coaches and NFL players and learn skills that go far beyond the field.
Blocking, passing, tackling, agility, concussion safety, and team competition — led by NFL players and Division I coaches. 8 AM – 1 PM.
Brand new for 2026 — a dedicated girls flag football camp aligned with the national growth of the sport, creating new pathways in athletics. 12 PM – 4 PM.
Financial literacy, nutrition, maintaining good grades, off-field decision making — because the choices that shape a life happen everywhere, not just on the field.
